Classes can be used to keep track of different rosters by teacher and/or class period. Staff members will be able to download barcodes for students by class/period. Download the document below or watch the how-to video to learn about classes in 5-Star Students.

File Type must be .CSV or .TXT (with comma delimited fields). The file name should not have spaces or date/time stamps, such that any existing file will be overwritten during each transfer.
Please include a header row for reference, however the order of fields does not matter. Field values that include commas must be enclosed in quotes ("")
FIELDS
School/Campus: name of the school
School/Campus ID: unique ID or code for the school
Student ID: should match ID on the student roster
Class Category (OPTIONAL): the period name/number or another label to categorize the class
Class Name: name of the class (i.e. teacher's name, subject, another label)
Teacher ID (OPTIONAL): should match ID on the staff roster
Teacher Email (OPTIONAL): should match the email address of the teacher
