REMINDER: The staff roster is not equivalent to creating a user account. The staff roster is used for tracking your staff involvement (i.e. staff check-ins and points).
If you don't have ID numbers for staff members, you'll need to make them up.
The system can generate barcode labels/stickers for you, which could then be affixed to staff ID cards (assuming you have them).
A couple recommendations/rules for staff IDs:
- Start with at least 4 digits, barcodes generated from small numbers don't scan well (especially when camera scanning)
- Some schools use the staff email address as their ID. Don't do this if you ever want to be scanning these barcodes
- Make sure the staff IDs don't conflict with student ID numbers
