Gray Points can be used as a secondary point system for a subset of students; such as a leadership class, student council, or another group. For example, you might create extra events related just to that subset of individuals (ex. dance setup, poster-making, etc).
By valuing those specialized events, activities, or behaviors using gray points, you can maintain separate point totals for those students, without affecting the school-wide point system.
It's also possible to include both a "regular" point value and a gray point value for a single event/activity/behavior. In this case, associated students would receive both regular and gray points as part of their participation.
Gray points can even be used for survey and voting participation! There are also detail reports and other analysis available to view gray point totals for students as needed.
